UNITY is a national gathering of Ukrainian Catholic Young Adults (18-35) to further understand, embrace, and celebrate their faith through prayer, education, and fellowship. Most participants are post-secondary students, young professionals, and young married couples.
The first Unity was in Winnipeg, MB, in 1996, with subsequent Unitys in Canmore, AB (2004); Muenster, SK (2006); Ancaster, ON (2009); and Pinawa, MB (2012).
Unity usually takes place in August, the year after World Youth Day, to serve as a continuation of pilgrimage for WYD participants, as well as a place to welcome young adults who are new to their faith journey.
All in all, Unity is a place where young adults can learn about their faith at their own pace and meet some great people who are walking along the same path towards understanding and loving their faith.
